Terms of service

1. Who provides the service

CarSussed is operated by Gavin Waby, trading as CarSussed, at 3A Derby Street, Rishton, Blackburn, BB1 4NW, United Kingdom. Customer support is available through carsussed@outlook.com.

2. What you are buying

A purchase covers one personalised, remote buyer report for the registration or advert submitted before checkout. The report may contain connected vehicle data, CarSussed analysis, a buyer score, BUY / NEGOTIATE / CAUTION / WALK AWAY verdict, questions, viewing checks and negotiation guidance.

The service does not include a physical inspection, road test, warranty, insurance, legal opinion, finance settlement service or guarantee that a vehicle is mechanically sound.

3. Your information and input

You are responsible for checking that the registration, mileage, asking price, seller type and any advert or service-history information you submit relate to the vehicle you intend to assess. Seller claims are labelled as stated or unverified until checked against documents or the physical vehicle.

4. Price, payment and delivery

The full-report price is £9.99 for one vehicle, paid once, with no subscription. The total is shown before payment. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. The report starts after payment is confirmed and the required input is available. If the service cannot complete the purchased report, the refund policy applies.

5. Immediate supply and cancellation

Before payment, you will be asked to request that CarSussed begins producing the personalised report immediately. You will also acknowledge that your cancellation right may end once the report has been fully supplied. This does not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded, including remedies where the service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

6. Data and report limitations

Vehicle records can be incomplete, delayed, incorrectly recorded or unavailable for some registrations. CarSussed distinguishes confirmed provider results, analysed conclusions, seller-stated information and unknowns. A clear remote result does not prove physical condition, identity at the vehicle, service history or the quality of previous repairs.

Valuations are estimates for a stated date, mileage and sales context. They are not a promise that a vehicle can be bought or sold for a particular amount. Equipment information may describe what was available for a model and may not prove what is fitted to the individual vehicle.

7. How to use the report

Use the report alongside the V5C, visible VIN, service evidence, seller identity, a physical viewing and a proper test drive. Do not send a deposit solely because CarSussed displays a BUY verdict. Where a report shows a critical marker, unresolved finance, stolen status, scrapped status, dangerous MOT result or mileage concern, resolve it independently before paying.

8. Acceptable use

The report is licensed for the buyer’s personal vehicle-purchase decision. You must not resell, republish, scrape, reverse engineer or create a competing raw-data service from the report. You must not use CarSussed to harass a seller, misrepresent a provider result or attempt to obtain protected personal data.

9. Responsibility and liability

CarSussed will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information supplied by a buyer or seller, a reasonable reliance limit clearly explained in the report, or a third-party record that could not reasonably be identified as wrong. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.

10. Complaints, law and changes

Contact us first if something has gone wrong so we can investigate the report and provider response. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you. The version accepted at checkout is the version applying to that purchase.
