Why CarSussed exists
A history record is useful only when you understand the questions it raises. CarSussed brings available vehicle evidence together with a buying verdict, price context and practical next steps.
Gavin’s vehicle-assessment role is the background to the service. The site does not claim that he has personally inspected every car checked, or that an employer, government body or data provider endorses its buying verdicts.
How the information is put together
Reports combine available connected-source records, buyer-supplied details and automated interpretation. Source information and unknowns should remain distinct from CarSussed’s guidance. A missing response is not treated as evidence that an issue is clear.
The buyer guides are published by CarSussed, with AI-assisted drafting and editing. Worked examples are labelled as illustrative unless they are supported by an identified real case. They are explanations, not claims that Gavin inspected the example vehicle.

What the service cannot promise
A remote report is not a physical inspection, a guarantee of condition, proof of every mile travelled or a certificate of complete service history. Valuation and repair-risk figures are guidance. Important identity, maintenance and safety questions still need to be resolved before a purchase.
